Join us and spread the word about our first lake clean-up project on Douglas Lake, presented by Appalachian Electric Cooperative.

AEC will have a “registration area / command center” at the TVA public access area / dock (just across the green bridge and across from the Point restaurant).

All volunteers are requested to come by and register their volunteer hours and receive supplies. Trash bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, bottled water and t-shirts (as long as they last) will be offered.

Trash collection area will be located at the Dandridge Dyke parking area. You may deposit your trash here or be able to “haul” garbage from the Access area to the Dyke. We will weigh the total garbage collected and be able to celebrate our efforts.

Look for the event advertisement in the Standard Banner and share the announcement with others.
